Since 1997 we have been advising the utilities industry on the implementation of SAP systems with Bicon Consulting, which we acquired in 2010. Our customers include communal public companies as well as internationally operating energy enterprises.

We accompany our customers throughout the entire SAP system life cycle, from the requirements analysis, concept development, implementation, and GoLive support to the final operating phase.

We have been a partner of SAP for over 20 years and are one of the most renowned consulting firms in the context of SAP for Utilities.

Our services

Our main focus in the SAP environment are the modules SAP IS-U, CRM and BI/BW. In addition, we offer consulting services for SAP Infrastructure, SAP Basis and SAP Development.

In addition, we are currently working intensively with a project group on the topic of SAP S/4HANA. S/4HANA includes the HANA DB, the simplifications of the application modules, the new programming model, the new interface technology Fiori/SAPUI5 and, in the context of other SAP products such as Hybris, SuccessFactors and Fieldglass, forms the future SAP Business Suite.

The future challenges in the SAP area are mainly the necessary conversion/migration from SAP ERP to S/4 HANA. Companies also need extensive support in the context of User Experience (e.g. SAP Fiori) and Big Data/IoT.

A significant aspect of our work is the so-called functional gaps, which reveal functional or technical gaps in the software compared to the professional requirements, already in the concept phase. Functional gaps can usually be remedied using the following measures:

  • Enhancement of the SAP software through customer-specific developments.
  • Use of non-SAP software for the functional gaps, which usually involves interface development (e.g. connection of a legal dunning system).
  • Adaptation of customer processes to the SAP software, as far as this is in a reasonable cost/benefit ratio.


The cooperation with our customers is always based on the customer’s needs. In addition to large-scale projects in which we take on the role of a general contractor with complete responsibility for the results, we are also happy to support our customers in the processing of special topics such as Mako2020.
